This is a scheduled post because by now, I’m probably not home or getting ready for the big event for tonight, for tomorrow, for Saturday, for Sunday, and for Cyber Monday. Haha. In short, no time to write posts today until Monday. So here’s what I have written a few days ago…

I’m pretty amazed at how Texas excels in sports. Dallas Cowboys were once the football champs. The Dallas Mavericks also have a lot of championships in the NBA. There’s also San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets. Even the Dallas Stars hockey team have been consistent winners in the championship hockey games. And of course, don’t forget the Texas Rangers baseball team, whose home is also in Dallas. I really love it here.

Anyway, lately we’ve been seeing the teams not quite getting it together. But fear not for the future of these Texas teams because the young Texans are actually topping the others when it comes to college sports. The Texas Tech’s football team is currently ranked Number 2 in the nation while their basketball team just made a record earning 167 points in win over East Central in NCAA last Friday. All I can say is Texas is really good in sports (among many many other things - that’s why NBA All-Stars is coming to Dallas in 2010)! Congratulations to y’all and goodluck to the Dallas Cowboys’ game this afternoon.

I know, isn’t it obvious that I am so into big round watches? Yup… as I was looking at Michael Kors big watches the other day, I also found out about the Zodiac “Speed Dragon” Watches. The reason it got my attention is because of the brown and gold color. I love to color coordinate my stuff. So as much as possible, I try to stay away from brown and black mix. So when I’m wearing brown clothing, I keep away from black watches, shoes, and bags.

What I like about the Zodiac “Speed Dragon” Watch is that it will go well with Louis Vuitton brown bags such as the Mono’s and the Damier Ebene’s. Hehe. I am loving these watches. They are so gorgeous. But I’ll have to see them first personally to decide. But I was also surprised to learn that these Swiss-made, water-resistant (10m) watches come with an embossed rubber band infused with a subtle vanilla scent. Now won’t you want to wear something that smells good? And also, these Zodiac “Speed Dragon” Watches have gorgeous mother-of-pearl faces. I love them all but I like the brown with gold only hardware the most. I want to get one to match my Louis Vuitton Damier Neverfull. Oh by the way, the one I like is $275 while those with silver around the round gold are retailed $225. They also have black, pink, and other colors.

Karl Lagerfeld is no ignorant when it comes to the money-making industry that is Fashion. And while the Chanel boss makes serious money designing gorgeous Chanel, Fendi, and Chloe labels, he is now making money literally…

Karl Lagerfeld has made a Chanel Coin (more like designed is what I mean) to be released for Mademoiselle Coco Chanel’s upcoming birthday. The Chanel Boss took the label to a new level in Paris last Friday (November 21) when he unveiled the latest item he has designed for Chanel - a Five Euro Coin for the French Mint.

The limited-edition collector’s coin, which features Chanel’s signature quilted pattern on one side and the head of Coco Chanel on the other, was created to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the legendary Coco Chanel’s birthday. According to spokeswoman Isabelle de Segonzac, it was actually the Mint – Le Monnaie de Paris – who approached Karl Lagerfeld about making the coin because it expected Chanel’s birthday to be a big deal in France this year.

The Chanel coin may be a Five Euro coin but that is not entirely the amount it will retail for. There are four versions in gold and silver and will be priced from 45 Euros to 5,900 Euros. Oh goodness! Maybe I can take the 45 Euros. Haha. If you’d like one, they’ll start selling the Chanel Coin on December 1 at the French Mint. By the way, Chanel doesn’t get any percentage of the sales.

This afternoon, one of my early Christmas gifts for hubby just came in. Of course, he already knew about it ‘coz I couldn’t help but share it with him when I learned Adidas already has the brown Goodyear Street 2 shoes in stock.

Adidas has a lot of Goodyear Racing Shoes, and because Hubby loves racing so much, he loves these shoes as well. They’re perfect for driving and racing. I previously got him a white Adidas Goodyear for his bday (or was it Christmas???) and he loved it so much. Then last time we went to an Adidas outlet store, we got a great bargain on black Adidas Goodyear shoes. I’ve been constantly waiting for the brown. They had one before but I saw it a little too late coz they no longer have his size. Then there was another time that I saw a new model of Adidas Goodyear in brown but again, they no longer have his size. Then came the Adidas Porsche Racing Shoes, but… I didn’t like the wood panel on the side. The carbon fiber in the white ones were great but the wood panel? No, not for a racer. So I waited and waited until the other day, I found a new model of brown Goodyear shoes - the Adidas Goodyear Street 2. So, I immediately had to order them before they were out. And good thing I did because his size were out again when I checked today.

Chanel lovers and enthusiasts out there, I share with you important information about the Caviar Leather used in a lot of Chanel bags. If you haven’t already heard, Chanel is already using the new caviar leather. It’s different albeit not too noticeable. But if you compare the two side by side, you’ll see the difference.

Well, remember my first Chanel Medallion Bag? I took pictures of it when I brought my baby home. I even used it a few times. I returned it because it had a pressed mark on the front. Now when I got my new one and went home, it was when I noticed there’s something different about the bag. It feels lighter actually. AND… it’s shinier! Why? This doesn’t look right!!! It’s not exactly the same bag I first got…
