Gilt Groupe is one of the hottest online shops that offer designer items at discount prices. I have been a member for a couple of months now and I’m only trying to hold myself from making my first purchase. In fact, I’ve tried purchasing a couple of items already, but it seems that I’m always late to go online and the ones that I like sell out so quickly. So if you get the chance, make sure to join the Gilt Groupe online. I swear they feature fabulous designers at great bargains.
On the other hand, Marc Jacobs is soooo hot of a designer and label right now. Young Hollywood Celebrities are seen donning Marc Jacobs outfits all the time. In fact, if you have been avidly watching Gossip Girl (like moi, hehe), they have been using a lot of Marc Jacobs outfits, especially my favorite Blair Waldorf. :) I have been eyeing on Marc Jacobs for a long time now, but as I have my priorities, I will stick to purses or handbags for the meantime. Not to worry since I know my limits (LOL!).
So what is the connection between the two? You’re right, today, Gilt Groupe is offering Marc by Marc Jacobs clothing on sale. If only I didn’t make a recent purchase, perhaps I’ve already made my first Gilt Groupe purchase and first Marc Jacobs purchase at the same time. Imagine, the dresses, tops and pants selling for about $48 to less than $250! That’s way too far from it’s full price!!! Ugh! But it’s okay, I can live without it for now. After I’ve completed my Chanel classics and LV classics, I can already buy those designer dresses (but only if they are on sale and only if there’s an occasion). 
Previously, I told myself that I’ll buy a Marc Jacobs dress for my 2008 bday. But scrap that! Bags are what I collect so I’ll stick to that for now. I’m sure there will be more sales… just check out Gilt Groupe. They change the brands they feature everyday. So if you are dying to have a certain designer item but can’t afford it, then just join Gilt Groupe and be on the watch!
