I am so happy to give you the good news! Chanel, Versace, Christian Louboutin, and Chloe are slashing their prices in the U.S. Expect these four premiere designers to lower prices by 8 to 10 percent! Yay!!! Let’s celebrate!!!
Since April 2008, the Dollar has increased in value against the Euro by 28%, enabling the cuts as luxury companies rake in more cash than they anticipated. The cuts are expected to encourage people to spend. Retailers are going to celebrate the move, albeit don’t expect too much ‘coz these premiere designers have to maintain the “PERCEPTION of the LABEL’s VALUE!” Still, any cut in prices is very much appreciated. Does this mean we can get the JUMBO FLAP BAG next? Oh Yeah!

It’s time to go back to featuring cheap finds. Where else will you find great finds at bargain prices? I’d say Target anytime!
So here’s Fashion Juice again to your right.
Want to know how much the whole outfit costs? The tee and the skirt? $12! Yup. Imagine how cheap the whole outfit is! Of course, don’t count the wedges and the purse. LOL! This is why I love luxury handbags. I’m not bragging! It’s just that I’m trying to make a point. Like I always say, you can always find trendy or classy outfits at affordable prices and make them look not cheap with luxury accessories like a designer hand bag. The top I’m wearing is a $6 Merona plain tee I found at Target’s clearance racks. Same goes for my Xhilaration skirt. Now you do the math and tell me if it looks like a $12 outfit. I don’t think so. That tee can be paired up with skinny jeans or wide leg pants, plus high heeled sandals or peep toe pumps with that same bag and you won’t even think it’s a $6 top! I am so happy with my purchase. So fashionistas out there, before you buy some expensive plain tees somewhere else, you might want to check out mass retailers like Target because they might just look as great!
I am so thrilled! Remember last week, I featured my latest baby, a Chanel Medallion, which I purchased at Highland Park Village, Texas? Well, I’m going back. Nope, not to buy another Chanel. Hehe.

Well, I was just browsing through the stores and maps at NorthPark Center where I will be going to for the “Fashion at the Park” event, when suddenly, I came across a very interesting information. I am so lucky. I found that Texas offers tax-free shopping for international visitors as well as for US Residents and Citizens who will be sending the goods outside Texas or US. Sending gifts to friends or families outside the US qualify! Either way, my brother-in-law is coming over and he could refund sales tax on his purchases and whatever we’ll be sending with him too, hehe. I’m sure LushAngel will be thrilled as well! Dishing the details below.
I am really loving my headband from Forever 21. Besides the fact that it’s so cheap, I wasn’t aware until yesterday that Chanel had the same one in black and white. The SA’s from Tory Burch and Chanel all loved my hair accessory. Little did they know it’s just $4.80. Anyway, Chanel has the exact one except that it’s not a headband.
Since we got to Texas, all we did was shop for our home. Fortunately, yesterday, we had to go to an Outlet/Mall - not the usual outlets where shops have their own entrance, but a mall with outlet stores inside it. We had to buy additional dishware such as Pyrex. Lucky for me, there’s Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth discount stores at Grapevine Mills! Truly a blessing. I was so tempted to buy this Forever 21 Birkin knock off but so happy I didnt… because later on, Neiman Marcus Last Call had a Tory Burch bag on sale for just $230! I was about to get it really… but I thought I should check Saks Fifth first. Thank God! When I went to Saks though, they don’t have it there so I told myself, I’ll just get it next time. If it’s still there, it’s meant for me. If not, then it means I should hold my horses and just save for my long awaited dream bag - Chanel… sigh…
It’s been a while since I last posted my photo featuring different outfits… So at last, here I am, slowly coping up from all the busy things going on in my life such as moving to a new state and dealing with different clients and projects… The last two weeks were very stressful but it was all worth it… So I figured it’s time to relax and go shopping! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Continue Reading »
Who says Celebs don’t shop at Target? Target is not just for el cheapos like us you know (haha). Heidi Klum is one example. A successful model/host/Hollywood celebrity like her shops at Target too.
Why wouldn’t she, right? Compared to Walmart, Target has the better looking clothes and better brands at an affordable price too. Just the mention of brands like Botkier, Richard Chai, Rogan, and Mizrahi among many others makes me fall in love with Target all over again. haha…

Guys and girls, I truly apologize for not being able to post any entries since Thursday. The reason being is that hubby and I are moving to Texas this weekend! I’m so busy doing final packing, cleaning stuff, etc. So I’m not really sure when I’ll be able to post again, but I’ll try to post by tonight and schedule publishing so I still have entries to share with you everyday.

Because I’m feeling generous (haha), I’m giving you more tips on how to find pricey designer items at affordabel prices (and becaue I’m excited myself). Comme des Garcons is releasing an H&M line that will hit its stores this November!

About the designer
What began as a side business making costumes for styling assignments in Tokyo in the late sixties has morphed into a $150 million fashion empire with over 200 franchises around the globe. With rustic denim womenswear inspired by Japanese peasantry, Rei Kawakubo set up over 100 Comme des Garçons (French for “like some boys”) shops across Japan in the seventies. Then, in 1981, she brought her first collection to Paris. Bathed in black, it featured strong but conflated silhouettes—in crumbled silk, scrubbed cottons, and boiled wools—that honored provocation over fit. The mystery (and the austerity) has continued with Kawakubo’s recent jones for temporary “guerilla” stores, not to mention the work of her protégé Junya Watanabe, who presented his own womenswear line under CDG in 1992, followed by a menswear collection in 2001.
