After a long vacation in California, Fashion Juice is back! It feels good to be home… not that I didn’t have fun or anything because I sure did. But it feels great to be home! I love Texas. No offense to other states, but Hubby and I really enjoy it here in Texas - it has a little bit of everything! It’s peaceful here but it doesn’t lack the nightlife, entertainment, dining, and shopping areas too! Indeed, it has a little bit of everything! No, let me change that - it has a lot of everything. “Everything is big in Texas” - that’s what they say here. When other states started to go on recession, Texas was the booming state. When the housing market started to slump in other states, Texas homes were able to maintain its price range. Texas is so big so it’s not that jam-packed like other states. Still, it is home to the biggest companies in the US, not to mention it houses oil refineries in the country too. Plus, it’s almost complete when it comes to the shopping labels or brands. The only two labels I could think of that aren’t here are Balenciaga and H&M.
When it comes to dining, our city alone is full of choices! We haven’t even tried out everything here. Yet, there are more options to try in Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston to name a few. Dallas is like LA (West Coast) and NY (East Coast) of the Mid-US! So we are pretty satisfied with where we are right now.
So to anyone curious of what to expect from Texas, why don’t you try visiting our home state some time? Travel to Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio, Houston, or Austin among others and you’ll see what we Texans are proud of. Hehe

At long last! This is my last post of the top 5 of 2008 series. Why? Because today is the day I arrive back home (or perhaps I have gotten back last night). Nevertheless, this is the last scheduled post I’m writing for my LA trip. As mentioned in previous posts, I was away for a 2-week long Holiday vacation so I wrote all my posts before I left for LA (and this is the last post I wrote 3 weeks ago). Whew! So I’m guessing that you might be fed up with the type of posts I’ve been publishing for the past few days. Don’t worry because by tomorrow, I’ll be dishing about L.A. stuff. The top 5 series and Christmas gift guides are over and done. So since this is may last top 5 of 2008 post, I hope you’ll bear with me with this last one. Click click click!

Hello everyone! I had a great start this 2009… and of course, I was so happy with my outfit too. This was supposed to be my outfit last Christmas, on my birthday, but I decided to go with the traditional “red” for birthday celebrants. So anyway, just to share, here’s Fashion Juice’s New year outfit for 2009…

Happy New Year to all my dear Fashion Juice readers. Today is another year so I have to make this Top 5 List a special one! This one is not just the Top 5 Designer bags of 2008, but the Top 5 Bags of all time! I was thinking of just going for Top 5 Bags for the year. However, these 5 have come to be the “IT” bags and Classic bags that will always be in trend. I mean, they just have to be on the top list everytime.
While there are other bags that are just as gorgeous or perhaps way more gorgeous, these bags are just like your Top 5 bags to own before you die.
So if you want to find out, click, click, click…

Now this is rather a hard one. We all know how black skirts have become a staple in our wardrobe. But that’s not just it! Most young celebrities were seen wearing pretty black skirts, be it traditional or trendy. So this feature about the Top 5 black skirts of 2008 from your dear Fashionista, Fashion Juice will be different among the rest of the Top Lists that I have…

Today, I’m featuring the top 5 pants we’ve seen in 2008. This list refers to pants that may include leggings (hint) for that matter. These are the top 5 trends when it comes to pants/bottoms for this year. Of course, you can always argue if you feel I’ve forgotten something here.

Since Christmas is already history, the next holiday we look forward to is the New Year! And you know the trend every New Year? The biggest trend during the New Year Holidays are the “TOP Lists”. Didn’t you notice that everytime we are nearing the New Year, the media always come up with features such as “The Top 100 Looks of 2008″, “The Top 100 Women of 2007″, “The Top 100 Headlines of 2006″, “The Top 50 New Artists of 2006″, or “The Top 50 Trends of 2005″, etc. etc. etc.. So, it’s only fun to make my own “Top Something Something” for the whole week! Oh by the way, just to inform you, this is still a scheduled post. I am determined to NOT post during my vacation. But because I don’t want to leave you empty-handed, I have written my posts in advance from December 13 to January 5! That’s a long break for me! But it has also cost me hours and hours of “blogging time”.

Merry Merry Christmas to all of you, my Dear Fashion Juice Readers! Today is one of the happiest days of the year! It’s Christmas Day! But best of all, it’s also my birthday today! Only one day left before Christmas day. In just 24 hours, it’s already Christmas Day. It’s already my birthday… what are you doing? It’s no time to turn on your computer! It’s time to prepare for the big day tomorrow, err, I mean for tonight. You should be busy getting your nails done, getting your hair done, ironing your new clothes, preparing the food, cleaning up the house, setting the tables, checking if all the gifts are wrapped up and standing by… If you need to do last minute grocery shopping, by all means go… this day is perhaps the busiest day during the Christmas Holidays! So make sure that everything is already set! As for me, I’m probably in my Uncle’s house right now (this is a scheduled post I’ve written 2 weeks ago) celebrating my cousin’s birthday! So to Ate Cecille, happy birthday! And in a couple of hours, it will be your turn to greet me.
So anyway, turn off your computer and get busy! Even if you are alone on Christmas Day, whether you are far away from your family and friends, it doesn’t hurt to prepare for your own Christmas Day! Buy your phone cards or whatever. So by tomorrow or I mean by midnight, you’ll be able to call, video chat, or text your dear family and friends and loved ones.
