At long last, bareMinerals came up with a Get Started kit for Lips, Eyes, and Cheeks! Thank goodness because that’s what I’ve been waiting for! You know they have tons of makeup products and I don’t have the time to learn them all. I’m pretty sure the same goes for most of you ladies… I mean, we have other things to think of… we have work to do or lessons to study, not to mention dealing with personal stuff. We have other work on the side, other hobbies to do, exercise, shop, cook, or whatever extra curricular activities we’re into. So having to learn which makeup to use, how to use bareMinerals, or what powder to use with what, is a pain. Thanks to Bare Escentuals, they’ve come up with bareMinerals Get Started Kit for lips, eyes, and cheeks! Yay! I can’t wait to get one soon! Oh and they’re only $49. Yay!

I love Mario Badescu beauty products and skin care because they really are effective. I first read about it in a magazine. For years (literally speaking), I have had my eye on Benefit makeup. I first heard it from my friend Carla asking me if I’ve tried Benefit. Perhaps she has heard good things about it in the Philippines. At first, I had no clue. But when I visited malls and department stores, there it was. I just didn’t notice it because I didn’t know about it until she told me. And as I flip through magazines, there it was again… used and recommended by a lot of Hollywood celebrities.

I always had the urge to try a number of their products. For one, their blush in a box is among the popular blushes that I’ve been meaning to try. I also wanted to try the Benetint - the revolutionary cheek and lip stain, which was actually what made them famous. And there’s also the powderflage a camouflage concealer for dark circles, boo boos, fine lines, and so on. While I had my eye on so many things, I don’t want to spend so much on a lot of makeup since I rarely use them. I just have my usual powder and lip color/gloss and the occasional use of blush (because I look really pale).

Remember I previously bought some stuff at Ulta and then I got a 10 day trial of Bare? Bare Escentuals have been giving away bareMinerals SPF 15 foundation and brush last month. No purchase necessary! Now I’ve visited NorthPark Center in Dallas, Texas and found a bareEscentuals store! Yipee! So when I got in, they were still giving away the foundation and brush freebie kit. So I got one myself. Yay! They come in a small paper bag with instructions on how to use it. Now I have like 2 to 3 months stock of foundation before I finally get the starter kit!
